A few days ago the first official pictures of the Batmobile from the upcoming Batman v. Superman were released. Now there’s quite a few more shots on set of Zack Snyder’s version of the Bat-wheels.

The photos, provided by, show off the Batmobile in action on set in Detroit and the nice thing is the number of angles and different lighting for this photo set. There’s also a few good closeups of the back of the Batmobile and another with one of the doors open.

It’s an interesting design choice as it’s a hybrid between Tim Burton’s Batmobile from 1989’s Batman and the Tumbler from the Dark Knight trilogy. Largely it seems like a more stylish version of the Tumbler but still retains its slightly more practical design than previous versions of the iconic car and still has plenty of armor.

The full photo set can be seen on Autoblog’s photo gallery page.
