The Star Wars franchise will have content coming to you from almost everyone in the gaming industry for the next few years. DICE and Motive are working on new content for 2017. Visceral will also bring Star Wars content your way in 2018.

Details were not given, but there is chance that new content from the movies will make it in and there will be new characters headed your way. However, another dev trailer did make an appearance detailing concept art for what is to come.

While it is great that EA announced new content for Star Wars: Battlefront was coming, but they need to remember that gamers are a demanding bunch. They want to see the footage not hear about it. A dev trailer does not count either. That is just a tease and when a press event is held at E3, EA should have known better.

Next time spend less time talking about FIFA and Madden and give the people what they want, game footage.
