Many moons ago Mortal Kombat was rebooted with a modern and sinister series titled Mortal Kombat Legacy.  The series has captured the hearts of many fans across the globe, including myself.  I followed the show closely and was totally bummed to hear that Episode 9 would not be played until Comic-Con which stood a few weeks off at the time of the rumored showing.

Well Comic-Con has come and gone, and Mortal Kombat Legacy ended with a chapter featuring the famed Lin-Kuei attack drones of Cyrax and Sektor.  Firstly, the effects behind this episode are clearly much more advanced and expensive in comparison to anything else previously done.  Cyrax and Sektor are shown off in their new gear as test dummies for the newest advancements in the Lin-Kuei robotic unit.  The episode is brilliant and after watching, it made the wait seem worthy.

For a Web Series on a Budget Cyrax and Sektor Looked Pretty B*tchin..

Hopefully the next season of the mini series can prove equally as entertaining while also pushing the envelope on a much darker version of Mortal Kombat versus the campy 90’s films (Don’t get me wrong, I love the first one to death, but these are way cooler).  If you haven’t caught this episode, I suggest you jump onto it below, and if you haven’t been watching the show, you might as well just go sell your Internet connection to someone else.  In all seriousness though you can catch the first 8 episodes of Mortal Kombat Legacy by following this link.  You’ve been waiting for Kitana to knock on your door…
