Star Wars

Felicity Jones

Felicity Jones is rumored to be the lead female role for a Star Wars standalone film due out October 2016, according to CNN. Jones received an Oscar nod for her role in Best Picture nominee The Theory of Everything about the life of Stephen Hawking. It’s also speculated that Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Tatiana Maslany (The Vow, Orphan Black)may be involved in the film as well. Aaron Paul (Need for Speed, Exodus) and Edgar Ramirez (The Bourne Ultimatum, Wrath of the Titans) are of interest for the male lead, though at this time it’s unclear of which character the film will focus on.

John Wick 2

John Wick

While only in the development stages for the time being, it seems likely that a sequel to the 2014 action thriller is likely. While the story to the the first film wasn’t incredibly complex, directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch seem to be working on the best way to immerse audiences in the John Wick character. Here’s what Stahleski told

“If there’s great action but you have a character that no one likes and doesn’t have charisma, you’re not going to watch it. Look at any great action star, whether it’s Harrison Ford or Liam Neeson or Robert Downey Jr., pick a name. You love the guy first. Good action, bad action, you just love them in action. So we want to make sure we have a story and a character that everybody loves and then we’ll dress it with action that we promise will be awesome.”

CBR Trailers provides the first trailer for the 2015 reboot starring Sam Rockwell (Seven Psychopaths), Rosemarie DeWitt (Cinderella Man), and Jared Harris (Lincoln). The film is set to release July 24th in 3D.
