Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

If you’re itching to see a trailer for the film, you might want to purchase a ticket to Mad Max: Fury Road (but honestly, you know you’re going to see that movie anyway). Per Collider, the new Mad Max film will include the first trailer from Warner Bros for Batman v Superman.

Speaking of Mad Max, Tom Hardy confirmed during an interview with Esquire that he has signed on for three more Mad Max films, and is currently filming an Alejandro González Iñárritu film called The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The first official teaser trailer for the based-on-a-true-story film (the Loomis Fargo heist in 1997 in North Carolina) was released by Relativity Media earlier this week. The film stars Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig, and Jason Sudeikis. If you’re quick on recognition, you’ll (maybe) recognize Devin Ratray, who played Buzz in Home Alone.

Winnie the Pooh

Because Disney has struck gold with live-action films of their classic cartoon tales, they’ve decided to dig deeper into the honey pot and add Winnie the Pooh to the list. Per Latino-Review, the film is going to focus on Christopher Robin returning to the Hundred Acre Woods as an adult. Disney is in talks to hire writer Alex Ross Perry, who wrote and directed Listen Up Philip, which was shown at Sundance.

Per Deadline, 20th Century Fox is working on a deal with Hasbro for a live-action film based on the popular toy. Paul Feig, who is directing the all-female Ghostbusters film, is also involved in the negotiations. After the success of the Transformers series and the LEGO movies, Hasbro feels this could lead them in a positive direction after the disappointing Battleship.

Machete Kills Again…In Space

Danny Trejo has confirmed with Halloween Daily News that there will be another Machete movie, which will involve killing, scantily clad ladies, and space. Machete originally came about as a fake trailer to Robert Rodriguez’s GrindhouseMachete Kills Again…In Space came about as a fake trailer  added to the end of Machete Kills. So if you’re following, we’re about to be three movies in on a character that was originally added to poke fun at exploitation.
