Please keep in mind this is a red band trailer, so tread lightly.

The first official trailer for the remake/sequel/what-have-you for the Ed Helms helmed Vacation was released yesterday. The film takes place thirty years after the original trip as grown-up Rusty takes his family back to Wally World with a more than a few nods to the original. Chris Hemsworth also shows off his mighty hammer. Via MovieClips Trailers.

In case you’re of a younger generation and don’t understand why people are afraid of clowns, Will Poulter and director Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) are going to remind you. The 22-year-old actor will portray the evil Pennywise who frightens the living bejesus out of everyone he comes across and somehow manages to appear at the worst possible time. If you’re scared, just remember that Poulter was in We’re The Millers and rapped TLC’s Waterfall. Because a creepy clown just isn’t enough, news of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel that goes BEYOND the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning is floating out in the open. The pre-prequel found a female lead in newcomer Vanessa Grasse, who will play a nurse at a mental hospital where a group of teenagers will kidnap her and take her on a little road trip. One of the abductors will have an epiphany that will transform him into Leatherface. The film is scheduled for release sometime next year. Via Latino-Review.
