Chris Hemsworth has joined the cast of Paul Feig’s Ghostbuster reboot. Not as a paranormal warrior, but instead as the receptionist for Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, who will be handling the dirty work. Dr. Strange

Chiwetel Ejiofor

In the superhero world, news of Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Dr. Strange character was made known, as he will play Strange’s enemy Baron Mordo. In the comics, Mordo and Strange were both mentored by The Ancient One, whom Mordo eventually tried to kill, thus sending the two on opposite paths. The film is set for a November 2016 release. The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

A new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s new film was released this week, as he turns the TV series of the same name into a major motion picture. The film is set in the early 1960s during the Cold War as a CIA and KGB agents are forced to team up on a joint mission surrounding a missing German scientist. The film stars Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, and Hugh Grant, and is set for an August 14th release.

The Program

Lance Armstrong turned the cycling world upside down in more ways than one, and this upcoming biopic attempts to take a deeper look into the controversial racer’s career. The film stars Ben Foster, Lee Pace, Chris O’Dowd, Dustin Hoffman, and Jesse Plemons.

Rock The Kasbah

The debut trailer for Bill Murray’s new comedy was released this week, and in it he plays a down-on-his-luck talent manager who takes an up-and-coming musician on a USO tour in Afghanistan. While there, he gets robbed and stranded by his talent, meets a rifle-weilding tough guy, and miraculously comes across a new talent that he attempts to get on the American Idol-ish “Afghan Star”. The film is directed by Barry Levinson, and stars Murray, Zooey Deschanel, Bruce Willis, Danny McBride, Kate Hudson, and Taylor Kinney, and will be released on October 23rd.

Lucasfilm Working on Virtual Reality for Star Wars and Jurassic Park

USA Today has reported that Lucasfilm has created a new division at ILM to work on virtual reality projects that will include Star Wars and Jurassic Park. The new division is being called ILMxLab. You can find more details, images, and a video on USA Today.
