Mission Impossible 6 / Jack Reacher 2
Tom Cruise is having himself a resurgence. The newest installment, MI: Rogue Nation, has been a hit at the box office, and there’s already plans of fast-tracking MI:6 to be released in 2017. That’s Cruise’s hope, anyway. The previous span between MI films have either been four or five years apart, so this would be a much quicker turnaround. Along with the MI news comes confirmation that production for Jack Reacher 2 will begin this November, and bring back Cruise as the titular character. While Jack Reacher didn’t blow away the box office like MI releases, Paramount Studios is hoping the Cruise revival can make it a hit. Via THR
