TBD M. Night Shyamalan film

Joaquin Phoenix

Joaquin Phoenix is partnering up with his old pal M. Night Shyamalan for a film TBD. The two previously worked together on 2002’s Signs and 2004’s The Village. It’s been a while since Shyamalan had a positively reviewed film, so perhaps teaming up with Phoenix (who is particular about what movies he involves himself in) may be a positive for Shyamalan fans. Bourne Damon

Matt Damon is confirmed to star in the next Bourne film, reclaiming his role as the amnesic spy. Damon appeared in the first three films before moving on and letting Jeremy Renner take over. Renner is still set to star in another film, but no mention of the two characters crossing paths has been revealed, so it’s safe to say they’ll stay in their respective universes for the time being. Damon mentioned in an interview during press for The Martian that his Bourne film will take place in a post-Snowden world after the Bush presidency that the previous films took place during. Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander are slated to appear, along with the return of Julia Stiles. Via Buzzfeed
