Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden looks like XCOM and Beyond Good and Evil had a weird baby.

That’s fine though, because the game look pretty great so far, and seems to have a fair amount of thought put into it for not being a AAA strategy game. The demo in the video above takes place in a scrapyard, where our main characters are tasked with taking it over. We get to see some stealthy gameplay, and how to handle all different types of enemies. Sneaking up on enemies and killing them all in one turn will keep them from alerting other enemies on the map.

I’ve been a sucker for these kinds of strategy games since I first got into Fire Emblem on the GBA way back when. Check out the video above and let us know if you’re excited for this game too!
