Nathan Fillion Made a Live-Action ‘Uncharted’ Short for Drake Nation

Apparently Nathan Fillion is a big fan of the video game character Nathan Drake from the Uncharted franchise, because he with the help of Allan Ungar, have created a 15-minute live-action short starring Fillion as Drake. This project seemingly came out of nowhere, and was produced personally by Fillion and a few others. It also debuted on Ungar’s personal YouTube channel that only has 37 subs at the time of this writing (that number will definitely be going up this week), so it truly seems to be a passion project by fans who happen to know of some pretty big geek celebrities. Speaking of which, Fillion isn’t the only well known star in this short, which also features Stephen Lang from Avatar and a few other character actors. Lang plays Sully, Drake’s longtime mentor and adventuring pal.

The plot follows Drake who has been captured by some thugs working for a dealer who is seeking out a bit of treasure, but things may not be what the seem as Drake has a plan that he sets in motion with the help of Sully. For a fan made short, the production value is pretty legit, and Fillion definitely embodies the spirit of Drake perfectly, so it’s definitely worth a watch if you’re an Uncharted fan, or just appreciate the talents of Fillion in action. Head on up above to do so.
