NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 Is Celebrating Halloween With Free DLC

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 isn’t even two weeks old yet, but that hasn’t stopped 2K and Saber Interactive from dropping a free update for players on the Xbox One, PS4, or PC versions of the game. The Nintendo Switch version will get the update at a later date, so I guess you’ll just have to pretend its Halloween when your Switch copy gets updated.

The update adds a few freebies to the game, which include a new Halloween themed playground and swag (think gear the players can wear), as well as a new lottery pick called the Ankle Breaker. In addition to those free updates, Kareem Abdul-Jabar is also being added to the game’s roster of unlockable players. Like other NBA ballers though, he’ll have to be unlocked through playing the game or paying real world money to do so.
