NBA Jam Now Coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 in Full Capacity

If you remember, a few months ago I did a post on the fact that Xbox and PS3 owners would have to buy a copy of NBA Elite to receive a watered down version of NBA Jam.  At that time I was ready to bite the bullet and buy a copy of NBA Elite even though I’d rather get punched in the face repeatedly versus playing an NBA simulator.  They’re just not my bag if you know what I mean.  I was bummed that non-Wii owners weren’t going to get the full NBA Jam experience, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and I truly planned on picking up NBA Elite next week to score NBA Jam for my 360.

Well, thanks to piss poor planning and crappy gameplay, NBA Elite has been pushed back until next year.  As a consolation for this major f*ck up EA has announced that they will indeed ship the full version of NBA Jam for the Xbox 360 and PS3 this holiday season.  For someone like me this is a double bonus.  Now that EA has literally dropped the ball, I no longer have to buy an NBA simulator just to score a less than perfect copy of NBA Jam.  I can now just get what I truly wanted and that is NBA mother humping Jam!  I would like to take a moment to thank everyone at EA who was involved in f*cking up NBA Elite, which has now given me what I initially wanted.  “Thanks for sucking at basketball games EA, you’re the best!”  You’ve been hoping for this all along…
