IGN uploaded a new trailer for the Japanese live-action interpretation of the popular 2013 anime series Attack On Titan. In a mere four days, the video has already amassed over 2.5 million views on YouTube. Needless to say, anticipation for the movie’s release is pretty high.

Best known for The Floating Castle, Japan Sinks, and Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, director Shinji Higuchi is spearheading the film alongside FUNimation and Toho Company to bring Hajime Isayama’s anime series to life. If the trailer above is any indication, the movie seems to successfully capture the intensity of the original.

Attack on Titan will be released in two parts; the first is set to release in Japan on August 1st. The second, Attack on Titan: End of the World, will arrive on September 19th. The anime series currently consists of 25 episodes and leaves a myriad of questions unanswered, so excitement for Attack on Titan content should be around for a long, long time.
