New Batman: Arkham Origins DLC Gets Detailed With Screenshots

Three new DLC packs are now available to download for Batman: Arkham Origins on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC. One will add new skins to the game, while the other will add new challenge maps, and the last one will add new multiplayer content.

The Infinite Earths Skins Pack ($5 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and $3 for Wii U) adds six new skins to the game, which can be used in nearly every mode once the campaign has been beaten once. The skins are pulled from various DC comic books that have featured the Dark Knight in alternate getups. There’s also a special Robin skin for multiplayer only. The full list is below.

  • Earth 2 Dark Knight
  • Long Halloween Batman
  • Batman: Dark Knight of the Round Table
  • Thrillkiller Batman
  • Earth 2 Batman
  • Classic Tim Drake Robin

The second DLC pack is the Black Mask Challenge Pack (2$ on all platforms), which adds two new challenge maps in Lot Full and Hidden Facility. This content is unfortunately not included with the Season Pass.

The final DLC pack that came out today is the Supply Drop #1 (3$ on all platforms) content for Origins’ multiplayer mode. This drop adds new costumes for Bane and The Joker, and also brings a new weapon type to the game – the sawed-off shotgun. There will also be additional weapon progression bonuses, and a few new skins to use in multiplayer. This content is also not part of the Season Pass, which is kind of a bummer that WB Montreal is nickel and diming gamers for this DLC content.

You can check out a preview of each new DLC pack below where you’ll find some screenshots from the new content. There is a scheduled single player DLC release planned, but very few details have been released at this point.

Batman: Arkham Origins is currently available for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and the Wii U.
