New Batman Mez-itz, Halo Funko Pop!, and Marvel Funko Collectibles

I have a sickness and it’s called being a toy collector!  Ever since I can remember I’ve been enamored with the allure of hunting down collectible toys and buying them like they were bricks of gold.  My tastes lie heavily in the sci-fi realm with most of my collection being rooted in Star Wars toys.  Over the past couple years though I’ve mainly only collected figures that have the super deformed look made popular in Japan.  This switch in tastes has lead to me only buying toys from Funko, Mezco, and Hasbro with their respective Pop!, Mez-itz, and Might Mugg lines becoming my new obsession.

Once a month I usually make my rounds of the sites where I know I can score new toys that fall under my obsession of MMs, Mez-itz, and Funko toys.  It just so happens that I did this yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are a few new toys coming out for each of these lines except for Might Muggs.

The Funko Pop! line will be getting a special release this Spring with an Avengers line that features, Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, and Nick Fury.  All of them look awesome even if they look identical to the other instances of these figures in the Funko Pop! line.

If you’re not into Funko then Mezco may be better suited for you with their expanding Batman line of Mez-itz.  This Spring they’ll be releasing some new toys based on The Dark Knight featuring the look and feel of Nolan’s masterpiece.  There’ll be two larger toys based on Batman and the Joker, and there will also be some mini-Mez-itz based on those two, as well as Two-Face and Scarecrow.  If you like Muggs you’ll definitely appreciate Mez-itz, so this is a great time to start a new collection considering that Hasbro has all but stopped making new Mighty Muggs.

All of the items above are pre-orders because they don’t release until this Spring, but if you want to get your hands on some awesome toys now, I’d recommend checking out the entire lineup of Funko products available on Entertainment Earth. They have some great DC characters, and now some Halo characters available to buy immediately in the Funko Pop! line that no serious collector should miss out on.
