New Dead Island Trailer Debuts but Doesn’t Have Same Effect as the Original

Dead Island’s initial trailer captivated gamers all over the World with its intense imagery set to a soothing soundtrack, and it quite possibly could still be one of the greatest trailers for any entertainment medium of all time.  Well, Deep Silver has since released another trailer for the tropical island zombie fest, and it still implements the use of calm and serene music set to some disturbing pictures of families, but it doesn’t have that same “WOW” factor that the initial Dead Island trailer had.  I guess if you want to compare it to the music scene you might say that the ‘Part 1: Tragedy Hits Paradise’ trailer is Deep Silver’s sophomore slump.

Regardless, it is still a unique take on a game that is about slaughtering zombies with any item you can find before they feast on your coronary artery.  Check it out below and let us know what you think.  Dead Island hits stores this August.  You’ve been digging the score of these trailers…
