New Endless Runner Style Man of Steel Browser Game Now Out
The marketing team behind the Man of Steel movie is trying out a new tactic to get you invested into the Superman movie universe. They’ve released a free-to-play browser game called Metropolis Mayhem that features the addictive endless runner gameplay made infamous on mobile devices. You must guide Superman through the skies of Metropolis to avoid obstacles, and collect coins for points. If something gets in your way you can zap it back to Krypton with Supes’ eye laser ability.
For a browser game, Metropolis Mayhem sports some pretty impressive visuals. The Man of Steel is quite tiny, but the environment and framerate are comparable to current high-end mobile games. This is especially true with the framerate, it’s quite fast and screen tear free!
The endless runner gameplay may get a little old after a while, but if you’re the type of gamer who likes breaking records and boasting to your friends, then Metropolis Mayhem will keep you cracking out on your PC’s browser longer than you may have thought.
There’s no reason not to give it a spin, mainly because you don’t have to buy any new equipment to play it, and it features the hottest superhero of 2013 – Superman. You can start playing by heading over to this link. Just be aware that it might not work in all browsers. The game wouldn’t even load in Safari, but it worked flawlessly in Chrome.
Here’s to browser based gaming and all the potential it has for both gamers, and the developers that make them!
