2K and Turtle Rock have released a new batch of screenshots for Evolve, and a few of them detail the new Evacuation mode that was announced yesterday via a new story trailer. Evacuation aims to combine all of the game’s maps, modes, hunters, and monsters into a single dynamic experience that will change every time you play it.
Players will still choose a side between the Monsters and the Hunters, but rather than the match just being a one time rumble, it will continue over five concurrent rounds with the winning faction receiving bonuses to use in the subsequent rounds. For example, if the Monster wins a round it may get an AI companion in the next round, or more wildlife to feast on to make its evolution process quicker. If the Hunters win they may get a perimeter fence installed, or armored turrets to help fend off the burly Monster from attacking. In total there are 800,000 different possible outcomes of an Evacuation match, so the replayability factor is nearly endless regardless if you play it in a multiplayer, co-op, or single player fashion.
You can check out all of the new Evolve screenshots after the break. Players will soon be able to test the Evacuation mode out as it will be available in the exclusive Xbox One beta coming this January.
