A couple of years ago we were contacted about an Indiegogo project called Unlucky Stars, which is touted as a fight-centric film featuring the old school brand of action made famous during the 70’s, 80’s, and early 90’s. The team behind it has been doing their best to get it finished, and it looks like 2014 may be the year that Unlucky Stars makes its way to the masses.
The team has put out a new behind the scenes featurette that is full of nothing but action, which makes sense when you consider the plot of Unlucky Stars is centered around, well, action. More importantly many of the fight scenes pay homage to the 80’s Hong Kong Cinema action craze, so if you love martial arts and stunt fights, then you’ll surely appreciate Unlucky Stars. The film doesn’t have an official release date quite yet, but a new trailer is on the horizon to help drum up interest for the full release.
In the mean time head on down past the break to check out the 3-minute behind the scenes featurette that sports some of the most addictive fight music on the planet. Trust me, I still can’t get the tune out of my head, so I may head outside and start doing some unathletic looking martial arts moves myself. This film also stars some of our buddies from LBP Stunts Chicago, so it’s always appreciative when you support EB fans. Enjoy!
