New Game of Thrones Trailer Reveals Season 8 Release Date

A new Game of Thrones teaser has been released, and while it was plenty suspenseful, the most exciting aspect of the trailer is the fact that it finally revealed Season 8’s release date. Game of Thrones Season 8 will debut on April 14 with the first of six episodes of its final run. The final six episodes are being described as six movies, so hopefully they’ll all be close to an hour and a half in length.

As far as the new trailer goes, it’s rather cryptic, but at the same time it was very suspenseful and ultimately satisfying if you like being teased. It shows three of the Stark children in the Winterfell crypt while voice overs from their ancestors provide ominous warnings. In the end they all see themselves in stone statues as an icy mist approaches them.

I’m assuming this is a dream, or just a special bit for promotion, or otherwise Bran is fucking with everybody and providing us with a vision of his. Either way, the hype is getting even more real for the end of Game of Thrones, so check out the teaser above and try to figure out what the hell it all means.
