New International Solo: A Star Wars Story Posters Released
A new set of International character posters have released for Solo: A Star Wars Story, and they’re slightly altered from the original batch of character posters we got in February. Most notably is the visual change, which may have been made due to allegations that Disney ripped off the style of these posters from a French artist’s campaign for Sony music. Now instead of the characters bleeding through their names, you just see the full character portrait. As Geek Tyrant points out, they’re not wielding weapons like they did in the first round of character posters, so this may be a reaction to the push for gun control after the Parkland shooting.
Regardless of the reason for the changes, the new Solo character posters still maintain their western feel, and I dig the vibrant splashes of color. You can check out the new posters below.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018.
