Nintendo has released a set of expertly crafted art assets for the soon to be released The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for the 3DS. This game’s art could easily hang in a fancy art gallery and not be scoffed at; that’s how brilliant and refined some of the images look. Their style represents a pastel painting, or a highly detailed chalk art piece that you may find hidden on a city wall somewhere. It’s safe to say that this game’s art design won’t be its downfall.

In addition to the new art assets Nintendo released images of the The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle, which sports the coveted gold painted handheld that uber-zelda-fans will surely yearn for. Unfortunately for the U.S. this gold 3DS XL hasn’t been confirmed yet, so for now it’s only available in Europe. One would imagine that Nintendo would release the bundle in the States, but these days it’s hard to tell what Nintendo’s strategy truly is, so don’t bank on it happening until the Japanese game and console maker makes it official.

If you live in the U.S. the closest you can get to the gold 3DS XL is checking out its brilliance via the product images after the break. For now they’re just a tease, but hopefully Nintendo will realize the sales potential of this bundle in America and release it for purchase.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is a 3DS exclusive releasing on 11/22/13.
