Here’s what’s on tap for this week in music:

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – CSNY 1974

This three-disc live album (with a DVD!) was recorded back in 1974, but was never released until now. Fans of folk rock will enjoy this nostalgic trip through time, especially if you weren’t around to see them live back in ’74.

Judas Priest – Redeemer of Souls

Priest’s first studio album since 2008 is out this week, and their first without founding guitarist K.K. Downing who left the band and was replaced by Richie Faulkner.

Sia – 1000 Forms of Fear

The Australian-born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler releases her sixth studio album, featuring the hit single “Chandelier” as seen above. While she’s not one to put out records on a regular basis (about 1 every three years), she stays busy by writing and collaborating with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Eminem, David Guetta, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Marron 5, and the love of my life, Britney Spears. My pick of the week.

Take some time to check out new music; you just might find your new favorite band.
