Back with their fourth studio album and a new bass player, The Airborne Toxic Event are also offering an acoustic record ten years in the making called Songs of God and Whiskey available only on their website. Dope Machines continues their ever-growing sound, mixing in electronic synth and beats.

Misterwives – Our Own House

Following up their debut EP, Misterwives brings us an eclectic, pop-rock full length album this week. The New York quintet has the ability to use their music to set certain moods, especially with lyrics discussing love and maturity, whether it be a laid back track to a dance-y, rock-tempo song.

Mat Kearney – JUST KIDS

Album number five from Mat Kearney is available this week, his first since 2011’s Young Love. Kearney’s new album has a more substantial feel to it while still providing his fans the sound he’s become accustomed to.

Emile Haynie – We Fall

After many years as a producer working with the likes of Eminem, Kanye West, The Roots, Raekwon, and Ice Cube, Emile Haynie is releasing his debut album. While his influences have largely been in the hip hop realm, his debut takes another direction with guests that include Brian Wilson, Lana Del Rey, Nate Ruess, Lykke Li, Father John Misty, and Randy Newman.

Take some time to listen to some new music; you just might find your new favorite band.
