New Shot of Laura Dern’s Amilyn Holdo From The Last Jedi Released

Outside of an official shoot for Variety and a brief appearance in the D23 sizzle reel, we haven’t seen much of Laura Dern’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi character. She’s been absent from both of the film’s trailers, and hasn’t been seen in any of the released toy lines to date.

Well, Laura Dern herself did something about the Holdo-void yesterday on Ellen. She showed off a shot of Holdo on her Instagram page, which you can check out below. From the looks of it she appears to be holding court with Resistance soldiers, so the rumors we’ve heard about her taking over for General Leia while she recovers (good chance Leia gets seriously injured early on in this film) may be true after all.

The other interesting item of note from this shot is that we can see the Resistance BB unit that has been immortalized in Funko Pop and SHF form already. He’s the little blue and green ball to the left.

Let us know what you think about this new look at Vice Admiral Holdo by leaving a comment below.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
