New Thanos Concept Art from ‘The Avengers’ Second Screen App

The Avengers is finally out on Blu-ray this week, and for fans who want to dig deeper into the nuts and bolts of the movie’s production process can do so by downloading the Second Screen companion app from iTunes.  One of the nuggets contained within this app is some Thanos concept art that shows off the Mad Titan’s grill sans helmet.  The images provide a much clearer look at how menacing and ugly this dude really is, and it’s sparked some fan debate about who should play him in The Avengers sequel.

I doubt an actual actor will play Thanos, but one fan commented that he looks eerily similar to Ron Perlman.  Some fans even compared him to a bald Jeff Bridges from Iron Man.  Regardless, these new images offer a much clearer look at Earth’s next threat the the Avengers will undoubtedly have to quell once the sequel drops a few years from now.  Feel free to check out some additional Thanos concept art after the break.  You’ve been needing to study up on Thanos lore…
