This week’s new video game releases are light, but there are at least three heavy hitters that deserve a bit of your attention. The most high profile new release this week is Mortal Kombat X for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but the Indie Titan Souls should also be on your radar. In terms of re-releases on a new platform the GTA V PC offering is obviously the final high profile releases of this week.

The PC new release scene is very weak, as you can see by the meager selection down below. Last-gen consoles don’t have much going on this week either, while the Wii U and 3DS have a couple of titles to look into, but nothing drool worthy.

Our Recommendation

Mortal Kombat X is the easy pick this week as a new video game you should play, but GTA V for PC will surely get some attention. If you don’t want to go AAA, then Titan Souls is the way to go.
