There isn’t a shortage of new video game releases this week, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be parting ways with a ton of cash either, because most of the new titles are random PC releases that probably aren’t even on your radar. The most notable new video game release, simply for its shock value, is Hatred, which releases for the PC platform on Monday, June 1st. ARK: Survival Evolved is also an intriguing release thanks to its dinosaur setting, so it may be worth a gamble.

As far as the console scene goes it’s sparse. The Swapper is an excellent puzzler, which is finally coming to the Xbox One, but that’s about it, so may be a great week to catch up on your backlog.

Our Recommendation

Just for the fact that it made such a splash with its debut trailer Hatred is our recommendation, although Survival Evolved looks pretty radical if it plays well. Outside of those titles this is a good week to leave your cashflow intact.
