New Walking Dead Parody Pokes Fun at the Show’s Product Placements

AMC’s The Walking Dead returns to the airwaves this Sunday at 9PM EST, so fans are eagerly awaiting the weekend. If you’ve ever watched this excellent show then you should be quite familiar with its blatant product placements, especially with the vehicles featured on the show. Somehow brand new models of cars randomly show up for Rick and his gang to hijack so they can get around in style. Maybe there’s a secret car factory in Japan that never came under the influence of walkers and has managed to stay open for business?

Well the The Warp Zone YouTube channel has noticed how many product placements are indeed featured in The Walking Dead, so they created a cheeky little parody video to highlight this fact. It’s a pretty funny bit with some decent blood VFX work, and considering that The Walking Dead is still a few days away at least this fan parody will satiate your need for zombie violence, and product placements. Head on down past the break to check out The Warp Zone’s work.
