New Xbox One Update Brings a New Style to the Console

The Fall Xbox One update is here and available to the broad community. This update brings a ton of new features to the system, along with another visual update. You can now personalize your home screen even more with the new block system. You will be able to add games, friends, Xbox Live Gold, the Xbox Game pass and more to your home screen. The guide has gotten a complete overhaul and runs a lot quicker now. With fly-out menus, you will be able to dive deeper into the guide quicker than before. Transitioning from two consoles has gotten easier as well with network transfers and external hard drive backups. Xbox One X owners will be able to capture Game DVR/Screenshots in 4K ultra HD!

If your bandwidth supports 1080p Mixer broadcasts, Microsoft is going to update this across all of your Xbox One family of devices. In a nice move, you can now use a USB camera with Mixer to broadcast yourself alongside your games. For all of this and more, check out the Xbox website to get the nitty gritty of the information. I played with this update last night and it has to be the best one yet.

“Making you a better geek, one post at a time!”
