Originally announced as a PlayStation 3 game from Keoi Tecmo, Ni-Oh is coming exclusively to the PS4 sometime next year. The game follows a half-Japanese samurai who squares off against demons with the help of his fighting and magic skills in 16th century Japan. The game is inspired by an unfinished script from Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa, which was originally slated to be released with a companion film. It was supposed to be available in 2006, and it wasn’t until 2009 that the company affirmed the game’s continued development which is now finally being finished by Team Ninja.
