Nintendo Steps Up, Knocks Prices Down This Holiday, Announces 2DS
Nintendo has come out of the gates swinging this Wednesday, announcing news of unbelievable price cuts as well as a new handheld offering that will be available this holiday season.
The WiiU is set to receive a price cut come September 20th, marking the system down $50 to a MSRP of $299.99.
Also available on September 2oth is a new, limited edition WiiU Bundle, featuring The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD.
The most interesting and exciting announcement from Nintendo is certainly the newly unveiled Nintendo 2DS. A portable gaming system with the compatabilities to play both 3DS and DS titles only in 2D, the Nintendo 2DS is marketed as the best entry-level system gaming has to offer. Set for an October 12th launch, the Nintendo 2DS will be available the same day as the much anticipated release of Pokemon X/Y.
