A very strong week across all Nintendo platforms this week, and for the first time in a while the 3DS has a unique title coming out that is exclusive to the system. Splatoon continues to be the game of the summer with a new map launching later tonight and the Global Testfires returning this weekend to bring in some new players.
Little Battlers Experience is Pokemon-esque game based on a TV show of the same name, and features over 2000 customizable monsters to do battle with. The game features local 3-on-3 battles and an extensive solo campaign, even if the characters and plot are aimed mostly at children. The game seems to be a pretty in-depth RPG for the 3DS so it might offer large replayability.
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is now available on the Wii U eShop, joining the original. For fans of the series, it’s been a while since a worthwhile entry came out so picking up this title may scratch the itch and show Nintendo that support for Advance Wars still exists.
Capcom is holding a summer sale, with games like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate at huge discounts. If you have yet to pick that game up, it is one of the 3DS’ best and offers hundreds of hours of gameplay.
