Nintendo Weekly: New Releases for December 25th – January 1st 2014

Despite only having a few releases this week, their happens to be some damn fine ones which many are bound to appreciate. If you were hoping for masses of content, then like last week, you might be slightly disappointed, but hopefully Santa had you covered and you have plenty to play. Despite not having an abundance available though, Nintendo once again proves that quantity does not equal quality, with the classic Duck Hunt now finally available for Wii U on top of some awesome classic virtual console games such as Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 and Mario Party Advance making the rounds. It is most definitely safe to say that this week will be a win for Wii U owners everywhere.

Those of you with a 3DS have no more than two releases to choose from, most of you might have heard of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, if that sounds like something you might dig, you might want to check it out. Checking it out would probably be a very, very good idea.

Our Recommendation:

A fantastic load of games to round off 2014, but the ones gamers should definitely checkout are any of the Mario titles shown (on both platforms), as well as Duck Hunt. Hats of to Nintendo, a job well done.
