Nintendo Weekly: New Releases for February 26th – March 4th 2015

If cheeky chimp related platformers are your game, then this week will guarantee a smile on that face of yours since Donkey Kong makes a massive return in a huge way for both Wii U and 3DS gamers. Relive the favorites you once cherished, or play them for the first time. Either way, the Donkey Kong series is famous for a reason and should definitely be checked out. If simian hijinks do not interest you however, then this week might just leave lots to be desired, especially for Wii U gamers.

Our Recommendation:

With this weeks home console releases we do not have much choice. However as stated, Donkey Kong takes over the eShop and so long time fans or otherwise gamers could do a lot worse than a Donkey Kong title or three.

Though Donkey Kong also owns the 3DS this week, the platform also has IRONFALL Invasion (a free to play 3rd person shooter), which plays very similar to the Xbox 360 console shooter Gears of War. The recommendation this week has to go to Titan Attacks!, a fantastic homage to Space Invaders. You can check out a review of the title right here.
