Nintendo has some pretty sweet releases this week, even more so if you are yet to dig into any of them from a previous system. Sure there are the usual bunch of not so popular options, but with the likes of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Citizens of Earth, the lineup could be a lot worse. Wii U gamers have the most to be pumped about this week, since there is a lot of choice to be had. 3DS players however might feel somewhat left out, though with some colossal games to come such as The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate next month, it is more than likely that the pain shall swiftly pass by. One more thing before we head to this weeks recommendation.

Moving forward titles displayed will only be written down if they have not been displayed in the previous week, so please be sure to check last weeks post if you happen to notice something amiss.

Our Recommendation

If you have not already played it, then Super Mario Galaxy 2 should be your first stop if you own a Wii U. Though available on disc and able to play on Wii U through the Wii app, the game is currently available at 50% off digitally making it just $9.99, which is of course a steal. Also available to players is indie hit Electronic Super Joy: Groove City. The game takes the classic tale of a giant robot Stripper and delivers a beautiful story filled with glorious dancing and high octane action.

Meanwhile, 3DS players (like Wii U) will soon be able to give Citizens of Earth a bash, a game which looks quirky but from what we have seen so far seems to hold its own. At the very least, Citizens of Earth is definitely one to watch. Also on offer is Lufia: The Legend Returns, a popular RPG from the Game Boy Color era which you may well want to take a look at.
