Nintendo Weekly: New Releases for June 10 – June 16 2015

Lots of downloadable content this week, with a great number of virtual console titles and downloadable content available as we head into E3. Chances are there will be some surprise announcements out of the big conference next week, so keep your eyes on the eShop to hop on some of the brand new games that should be dropping next week. If you’re still playing Splatoon and Smash Bros., there’s a good amount of content coming at you in the next few days. But if you’re looking for something new to pick up, Nintendo has you covered as well, with plenty of good looking titles.

Our Recommendation:

It has to be Lucas. Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is getting its second character update on Sunday, and he’s one of the most requested characters. After appearing in Brawl, and ultimately being cut from the series’ fourth title, Mother 3’s hero Lucas will be returning back to the fighting fray on June 14. There will be a Smash-centric Nintendo Direct on the same day, where more content is expected to announced. Lucas will launch for $3.99 on Wii U and 3DS, or $4.99 to grab him for both systems. We should also be getting the Splatoon costumes and Miiverse stage sometime soon as well.

Nintendo Wii U:

  • Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town – June 11
  • Lego Jurassic World – June 12

Nintendo 3DS:

  • Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure – June 11 An eShop exclusive puzzle game allows you to combat viruses as either the titular hero, or his brother Dr. Luigi.
