Nioh is already meeting critical acclaim from a whole lot of people, and it’s not hard to see why! For being a game that takes a lot of inspiration from the Souls games without being a clunky, slow mess like Lords of the Fallen. With a slightly more realistic (and I use that term loosely) lore than the Souls games have, it does put a kind of cool, fake-historical twist on the game.

It’s a little bit deeper than I honestly expected, and I had no idea that the character that you play as actually has a name–you’re not just “the unkindled” or anything like that. Check out the video above and let us know what you think of the game.
