Nolan Finally Gives Batman 3 a Title – ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

The third film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy finally has a name.  As stated in the post title the supposed last Nolan directed Batman film will be called, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.  It’s nothing special and fits well with the series, and at least it’s not something awful like Attack of the Clones.  I mean who would name a film….oh wait, that’s right, George Lucas would.  Anyway, Nolan also confirmed that ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ will not be filmed in 3D, but it will be filmed for use on IMAX screens.

He also dropped some bombs in regards to the villains that will be in TDKR by confirming that the Riddler will NOT be in this film.  He wouldn’t go into any details about who may show up, but from what he said it sounds like Catwoman may be getting the call to be this movies villain/love interest for Mr. Wayne to play with.  Sounds good to me.  There’s nothing better than seeing a hot chic in a full body leather suit.  You’ve been updated…
