Now Baseball is Getting In on the Gymnastics Maneuvers

The new trend in sports is being able to hurl your body into the stratosphere with the hopes of not snapping your neck.  This move was first made popular on the gridiron with the likes of John Elway and Ladainian Tomlinson perfecting it.  Well, it seems baseball players want in on the acrobatic action as well.  A Fordham player literally does a Superman over the top of the opposing team’s catcher to get home safe.

Check out the video below if you haven’t already seen it.  Personally, I prefer the car crash collisons that usually happen at home plate.  The best part as with any crazy call in baseball is watching the opposing team’s coaches bitch and moan about the call.  Watch out for the chest bump to dirt kicking maneuver Ump!
