‘OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes’ Trailer Release

If you haven’t seen it (as I hadn’t until now), OK K.O.! is a charming show involving a world of super heroes and villains, but specifically focusing on Lakewood Plaza, the hero strip mall of town. It has this quaint animation style, quirky characters, and fun action. The story revolves around K.O. and his quest to be the world’s greatest hero, and it follows his adventures while working at Gar’s Bodega located in Lakewood Plaza with his two best friends Radicles and Enid.

The game itself OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes starts with the antagonist of the show Lord Boxman resetting everyone’s power levels to zero, to gain them back the lovable K.O. must do helpful things for them, which in turn levels them up and unlocks their Powie-Zowie as it were for you to use in battle. The fighting style of the game looks akin to Mortal KombatTekken, the list of arcade fighters goes on, but with a twist.

During battle you can use the Powie-Zowies to help you fight your opponents by summoning that character for a brief but devastating attack to turn the tide of the battle. This game is all set to release on January 23rd, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Much to the chagrin of switch users there is no news on if it will be available for that console. Keep it tuned in here for anymore news on the game, or even to see our review to help you decide if you’d like to pick it up yourself!
