OUYA Announces XBMC Support and Shows Off New Pics

Ouya’s Kickstarter campaign is almost over, but the team keeps announcing new partnerships.  The latest update spilled the beans on a new partnership between Ouya and the XBMC open source media player.  In addition to that announcement they also showed off some new pictures of the console to showcase its minute size, as well as a scale reference for its controller.  The Ouya really is the size of a Rubix cube as you can plainly see in the image below.  On a side note is also looks like the Ouya mascot is getting an official unveil based on the Android man rendering below.

What do you think?  Are you still riding high on the Ouya bandwagon?  Do you like what you’ve seen so far?  Does the new mascot annoy you?  Let us know using the comments section below.  You’ve been wanting to touch this thing with your own hands…
