Overwatch‘s anniversary event for 2018 has officially started and is bringing a whole bunch of stuff for both veterans and newcomers. For those that missed previous events, you’ll be able to pick up old skins from those events as well as the dance emotes from last year. Players will be able to get some brand spanky new skins and dances as well, and some of them are pretty cool. The Doomfist skin makes him look a little bit like Kingpin from that really awful Daredevil movie from the early 2000’s.

Okay, that last thing might not have really been a compliment but what I mean to say is that the skin looks cool.

Not only that but we are getting a brand new Deathmatch map called Petra, which takes place in some ruins within a canyon. What I really like about this map is that you can destroy the big platform in the middle, creating a new stage hazard. I really like dynamic maps like this, it’s a cool touch that adds life and longevity to maps. Check out the trailer above and let us know what you think and what skin you’re most excited for!

“Making you a better geek, one post at a time!”
