Peep Out Two Images of the PS4’s Rumored Controller Redesign

Over the past two days a few images of the PS4 controller have surfaced, and all signs are pointing to them being legit.  Digital Foundry first tweeted out the images you see in this post, and they claim that their sources can be trusted, and that this truly is what the PS4’s controller will look like.  Hopefully, we can put all of the PS4 rumors to rest this Wednesday when Sony holds their curiously timed press event in NYC.

Supposing these images are indeed proved to be genuine what do you think of the redesigned PS4 controller?  It looks to have a little more beef to it than the current SIXAXIS offering, which should bode well for gamers who dislike the PS3’s diminutive feeling controller.

There also seems to be some sort of touch surface located in the middle of the controller, so I wonder how that will play into game development, and how games can be interacted with on the PS4.  Feel free to leave your two cents on the matter down in the comment section.  You’ve been thinking these are probably the real deal…
