Pink Floyd’s The Wall to be Played Live Once Again!

Well maybe not by all members of Pink Floyd, but Roger Waters, the outcast and creator of “The Wall” album will be performing the epic show solo.  This is literally music to my ears.  Pink Floyd is one of the fondest memories of my childhood, and since I wasn’t born in the early 70’s I’ve never had the chance to see their music played live.  I’ve been told that the original Wall tour was one of the greatest rock spectacles ever performed on stage, so I’m blessed that I’ll now have my chance to behold its glory.

Pink Floyd has always been known for their on-stage performances and over-the-top visuals, so I’m elated to have the chance to see the modern version played live this fall.  Even though the whole band will not be present, I have faith that Roger Waters will do the show justice.  He did write most of “The Wall”, and it was pretty much his last hoorah with the band as he left 1 album later, so he knows the material and will do it justice.

Check out the tentative tour dates below.  Hopefully you’re lucky enough to live close to one of the venues, because this is not a show to miss for any classic rock fan.  On sale dates have not been disclosed at this time.
