‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ Finally Gets a Console Release Date

Over at Paris Games Week, we were finally treated to a release date for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds! PUBG will finally be making it’s way to the Xbox One on December the 12th via the Xbox Game Preview functionality. In conjunction with this announcement, the PC version of the game is getting ready to enter the 1.o version of the title. Both games are being developed at the same time, but have different paths that they are going down. In lieu of the announcement, the Xbox version of the game will be getting three special cosmetic packs that will only be available during the preview period. There are no plans to bring micro transactions to the Xbox version of the game so don’t worry about that. These are special packs for celebration purposes, they are the Warrior pack, the Tracksuit pack and the Accessory Pack. The plan is to get both of the games along the same path eventually, but for now, get ready to bring the craziness of PUBG to your Xbox on December 12th! For more information, check out Xbox Wire!
