If you’re a PS Plus subscriber you probably received an email from Sony stating that the cost of the service is going up on September 22nd for the year-long and tri-monthly subscriptions. The yearly subscription will now cost $59.99, while the three month subscription will cost $24.99. The monthly price will remain at $9.99.

The new prices will take effect on the 22nd of September, so if your subscription renews on or after that date the new price will be charged. If you don’t want to continue you can turn off the auto-renew option for your account.
