The PlayStation Classic is the most beautiful lame idea of the year. I mean that in the sense that the system looks great, the controllers look and sound like they feel great, but they loaded it with stuff that no one cares about. The list of games available has been subject of extreme criticism with huge omissions such as the Crash and Spyro series.

Those games made the system what it was for the most part, and even though we have the remasters now, no one would object to having the originals as well. Games like Syphon Filter are great and all, but where’s Klonoa or Tomba? I don’t think anyone was clambering for the original Rainbow Six either, though Jumping Flash was a surprising addition. In the video above, you can watch PlayStation themselves unbox it and tell you how great it is.

That’s neat I guess.
