Plox Neon Review
Plox Neon is a polished take on an 80s arcade game. With the throwback visuals and retro music, this challenging puzzle game becomes an exciting experience for all players. The objective of Plox Neon is to find the best way to clear areas of the map and trap monsters to earn points with your own glowing ball. The challenge is learning the characteristics of each monster and how they interact with each map. Find the weaknesses of the eight different monsters and clear the goal of each map to win!
The graphics of Plox Neon are incredibly simple but visually striking. The bright neon colors are very clean, along with the effects of the trail from your neon ball and the blocks you break off the map. There are 60 challenging puzzles for players, each more difficult than the last. New levels unlock once the clearing goal is reached for each level.
Along with the exciting graphics comes the spunky electronic audio tracks. The six tracks have retro 80s vibes that play throughout each map and keeps you pumped up. I think the developer should put out a soundtrack pack on Steam because the music is the best feature of Plox Neon!
Overall, Plox Neon was a fun and challenging puzzle game. I highly suggest this game to any level player, as it’s just simple entertainment with the unique 80s arcade style. The 80s charm, especially the music, really makes Plox Neon an overall enjoyable game!
